Raymond Mill Gearbox Repair
To believe that all gearboxes eventually will become worn and require repair isnt to state that
gearboxes are intended to last a lifetime. Most gearboxes especially those designed by
Raymond Mill often operate for decades with little to no issue. Its because of this why most
repairs occur on older, legacy or outdated models. Most of the time the original manufacturers
dont want to repair older models or even offer gearing as specific lines may no longer be
produced and as such will often recommend buying a brand new replacement. Thats where we
come in here at National Gear Repair. National Gear Repair is a comprehensive industrial
equipment repair facility focused on the repair and remanufacture of all industrial gearboxes and
pumps. We are specialists in the repair and remanufacture of obsolete or Legacy gearboxes as
well and as such we can save you up to 60 percent compared to buying new by way of
Raymond Mill Gearbox Repair
.
All of our technicians here at National Gear Repair are Timken certified and Falk school trained
to excel at Industrial Gearbox Repair . Our philosophy revolves around ensuring we can do the
absolute best job we can for our customer needs. We understand that it is key as it also means
well be the first person you call when you have other equipment or gear drive failures. We
ensure that every part of your gearbox is in working order to full OEM standard including by
replacing every bearing, Even if they were replaced recently, We take no chance. All bearing
installations are performed via utilizing the Timken Certified procedures of shrinking the shafts
down with liquid nitrogen and placing the super heated bearings on top allowing gravy to
perform the installation and ensuring the bearings lock in place.
Once your Raymond Mill gearbox lands in our facility it is immediately taken apart and all
components are placed in a industrial parts washer ensuring that all the grime and grit be
removed in order to find the fault and accurately quote repair time and cost. If approved we
immediately begin to repair any damage to the housing areas or bearing seal areas, repair
damage to internal components or flat out replace them. National Gear Repair can
manufacture
any gearing or internal components for all Raymond Mill Gearboxes up to 20 Feet in diameter
and in any pattern or tooth design. We can even match the exact same hardness ratings as the
OEMs.
Once all components have been replaced with OEM direct or manufactured components the
Raymond mill gearbox is completely reassembled to the exact same specifications that
Raymond Mill uses for its new products. All bearing floats and preloads are reset to oem
specifications as well as internal backlash. We then connect the gearbox to our custom built test
bench for 6 hours on a light load to test for leaking, overheating, vibrations and other
abnormalities. Upon pasting these tests your Gearbox is certified with a 24 Month Warranty. If
