A Rich History Of Repairing Eagle Ironworks Gearboxes
National Gear Repair has worked extensively with
Eagle Iron Works Gearboxes as the company
has built a reputation of creating products that are built to last, low maintenance and have the
full support of the company. Eagle Iron Works was also purchased by the Mclanahan
Corporation in 2013 to work with producing sand classifying tanks, log washers and screw
washers while allowing the Des Moines IOWA location of Eagle Ironworks to maintain its own
identity on the market allowing
Mclanahan Gearboxes and Velco Exciters to be produced
utilizing parts manufactured by Eagle Iron Works.
The Benefits of Using Eagle Iron Works Gearboxes
Eagle Ironworks Gearboxes have been utilized as industrial solutions across multiple industries.
After being acquired by Mclanahan Eagle Ironworks began to produce fine material washers.
These washers process fine 2.6 sg and high solids at minus 10mm or ⅜”x0. This is only done
due to the continuous rotation of the spiral conveyor shaft and wastewater overflow acting on
the feed material and powered by a heavy duty Eagle Ironworks Gearbox. These Eagle Iron
Works Gearboxes have heat-treated helical gears allowing triple reduction to push 100% to 16%
Operational Washer Shaft Speeds and Oil bath lubrication which allows maintenance free
operation. Once the material is dewatered and conveyored up the inclined tub, it is classified by
adjusting the volume of water over the adjuster heigh weirs on the Fine material washers.
